About Asmita:

My name is Asmita and I am currently an undergraduate student at IIT Jodhpur, India. I got into filmmaking when I joined the Film Club at my institute, where I learnt the basics of cinematography, editing and scriptwriting. I also have my own poetry page on Instagram, where I write mostly about personal growth, love, loss and nature. I am also working on my first book, ‘Outside the Room’, which I serially publish on Substack. Apart from this, I support the causes of women empowerment, sustainability and climate change. Currently I am also interning at a climate tech startup in Gurgaon, India and aim to be a future entrepreneur in these domains.
