An emotional reflection on climate, inequality, resilience and our responsibility towards the Earth.
Ekta Kalra
What you missed as a trial to solve the climate? There is no tail to the fire. You do not invent the ‘inexistent’ alone you also enable the ‘existent’ one to flow. You are obliged by self but least concerned about the other ‘self’. You are more concerned for your own self than the world at large. The fortune rolls in cases and cultures. When you are taught to respect the rich alone, you are not even an inch more.
If you are erased for a cause that obstructs your stand in the world. When you are hit by the storm that disrupts the lives of millions. Where do you go? You do not carry your same roof wherever you enfold. People lose their home or roof, their stone, their stand too. Reason out logic. Feel the tragedies around. Not for a cry. But for the sound that can heal the earth’s depth alongside its surface. You are improving in morals. You are not suppressing the poor ones. You are the efficient one working towards the goal. Your goal is to serve many to whom the world has never shown its flavourful colours. You are the enriched one with self. You may not be ‘the’ rich one who always has won. But money is not the stone on which every word is sworn. You acknowledge self. You build up as ants do without revenge.
Come in celebrate your own self. But do not forget that this environment and the sky are your own home’s roof. Its sound is the music that can enable your songs for you. Its trees are the pleasure without which you are not only aloof but also without food. Its thought, its capture of the dust by the wind, its essence, its logic penetrates deeper within you. You are deeper than just the ‘surface’ of you. You are richer than the colour of your skin can depict for you. You are enriched with a soul which is deeper than you can feel when ‘alone’ not loneliness here is the goal. May strength surpass action. May you enrich the cause.
You are the ground that makes the sound and the star that hears even each murmur. Come in celebrate the earth. You don’t fall. The pit be not strong enough to hold you for long. You rise again. You arise again. And with you be rediscovered as ‘superior’ still more ‘superior’ be the globe. Amen to the strength in mind that drives the brain to reveal and acknowledges life through roof and loaf. Many things enfold. Amen to the goal in life which is greater than the current stand of mind. Amen to the learning that follows that goal. Success will come; it’s already being told. Come in, you, enter in your life, live it new, you are a surprise of the globe. You be a surprise even in your own eyes.
