The theme, and running aim for my research project was to identify an emerging sphere in the broad realm of gender inclusion, and equity. Analysis of the intricate aspects of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) fields, and how their portrayal, necessity and engagement with the society holds a strong foothold in the future. The sections of this project oscillate between actionable environmental solutions for the rapidly increasing Climate Crisis and how inclusion of women in terms of structuralism and suitable education, honing of skills, and channelising the correct kind of response in terms of blending the lines between social aspects that affect the areas covered. The aim of my research project is to explore how gender parity, specifically the inclusion of women in STEM, can provide pathways to addressing the climate crisis. By understanding how increased female participation in STEM contributes to climate resilience and innovation, the project aims to propose actionable solutions to enhance both gender equity and environmental outcomes. Objectives:Investigate historical and current disparities in women’s participation in STEM fields.Analyze how inclusion of women in STEM can accelerate progress in combating climate change.Conduct surveys and interviews to understand attitudes and barriers related to female participation in STEM and their involvement in climate-related sectors.Identify successful case studies or programs that promote women’s involvement in climate science.Propose strategies to improve gender parity in STEM, with a focus on sustainability and climate action.Develop an organized report with literature reviews, primary research findings, and a well-structured conclusion.
